The fittings pivot on the lag eye screws, which help the wire to autocorrect into a level position (flat sections) or exactly to the angle required (stairs). Requires light duty or factory hydraulic swaging. Note: not suited for use in areas subjected to salt spray such as beachfront properties.

Perfect for fixing wire rope runs between timber end posts, this exceptionally popular streamlined wire balustrade kit features a Jaw/Swage Bottlescrew M5 x 3.2mm, a Fork Terminal M5 x 3.2mm and 2qty M6 x 60mm Lag Eye Screws
Apart from its inherent neat and sleek appearance, the two major benefits with this massively popular system are ease of installation and versatility. We would argue is it one of the easiest wire balustrade kits to install. The pivot point provided by the lag eye screws for the bottlescrew gives you the flexibility for use on flat sections of wire rope runs as well as for angled (stair) sections. Even if you don't drive the lag eye screws in perfectly straight, the bottlescrew and fork terminal will pivot and adjust to give you a straight run. In comparison some other systems require you to install the fittings completely straight and square or risk wire runs with unsightly angles.
Suitable for 3.2mm wire including 7x7, 1x19 and 7x19 constructions. Because 1x19 wire rope has a higher tensile strength, has the least amount of stretch and is less flexible than 7x7 and 7x19, it is very commonly used with stainless swage fittings such as with this kit. 1x19 wire is also more aesthetically pleasing than 7x7 or 7x19, it's smoother due to its helical (spiral) construction and as such can physically accommodate more wire in the 3.2mm than other constructions.
All in blackened stainless steel , these fittings require hydraulic swaging/crimping with an entry level 5T light duty hydraulic swaging tool (see notes below on the use of tools and hardened dies) or via a 30T Hydraulic Swaging Press.

You can do it all yourself by hiring the 30T Hydraulic Swaging Press (Melbourne only), or by purchasing one or a light duty hydraulic swaging tool.
Also recommended is the bottlescrew spanner to simply and easily adjust the bottlescrew tensioners.
Please note the use of hardened dies, heavy duty hydraulic swaging tools (including the 8T and 12T hydraulic tools) and other swaging procedures are not recommended as it will impact the finish of the final product and are not covered under standard product warranty.

Any use within this environment will corrode the finish which cannot be rectified and will void any warranty.
