This black pvd coated stainless steel wire balustrade kit is very slimline, neat and aesthetically pleasing. This kit is for those who are looking to minimise balustrade wire fitting bulk.
All in blackened stainless steel , these fittings require hydraulic swaging/crimping with an entry level 5T light duty hydraulic swaging tool (see notes below on the use of tools and hardened dies) or via a 30T Hydraulic Swaging Press.

Pre-drill your post holes for the rivet nuts.
Using a rivet nut tool, install the rivet nuts. Note: You must have a Rivet Nut tool capable of installing M6 LHT and M6 RHT Rivet Nuts (not all tools do). We offer the SRC Heavy Duty Rivet Nut Tool with a M6 LHT Mandrel for this scenario here.
Insert the wire rope into the swage stud terminal ends at each end of your run.
Crimp the swage terminals onto the wire.
Insert the RHT swage stud terminal into the RHT rivet nuts . Do vice versa for the LHT fittings. Thread with hands first and tension the swage stud terminals with a spanner.
Please note the use of hardened dies, heavy duty hydraulic swaging tools (including the 8T and 12T hydraulic tools) and other swaging procedures are not recommended as it will impact the finish of the final product and are not covered under standard product warranty.
DO NOT USE in saline/salt prone environments especially areas subjected to salt spray from the coast. Any use within this environment will corrode the finish which cannot be rectified and will void any warranty. If your project is subject to this kind of environment, please contact us for clarification and alternative options.
Avoid using harsh cleaners, chemicals and abrasives on and around the BlackLine wire and fittings. The blackened surface of the stainless steel may be stripped off, discoloured or degraded.
AVOID acid based cleaners such as oxalic acid (deck cleaner), vinegar or InnoShine B570 / InnoGel B450.
USE a mild, pH neutral cleaner, such as orange citrus or mild detergent with a non-abrasive cloth.
