For fastening timber decking boards and composite boards to metal where a flush finish is required.
Historically problematic, wing self drilling screws have often been used for fixing decking boards to metal joists. The main issue has been with the heads sheering off due to expansion and contraction forces placed on the screws with daily changes in temperature. These 14 gauge wing drillers are significantly stronger than 10 gauge, able to fasten timber to metal up to 2.5mm thick. And the B8 Coating from Bremick has 4 times longer corrosion protection than galvanised screws.
The B8 coating is very tough. Even driving with driving the metal point into steel subframe the B8 coating remains intact.
With a Trim Truss Head for a countersunk, flat and discreet finish.
