Bremick's FixConn Bugle Batten Screws are ideal for fixing heavy timber to steel substructure, such as hardwood decking onto steel joists.
Thinner gauge wing drilling screws have a propensity to snap due to differences in expansion and contraction between the timber and metal, often sheering screws in half.
These heavier gauge batten screws are better at holding heavier timbers.
