Stainless Wire Rope 1x19 3.2mm Marine Grade AISI 316 75 Metres

Commonly used for wire balustrading, trellis/espalier systems and architectural applications, 3.2mm 1x19 stainless steel wire rope has the highest break load of the standard wire rope constructions.

It also has the least stretch over the same tension, compared with other constructions. As a result, over time you won't have to tension the wire as much, or run out of tension capability with your installed wire tensioners.

1x19 wire requires hydraulic crimping. It is commonly used with stainless swage fittings such as bottlescrews and swage terminals. It is the least flexible and does not allow for kinks or bends.

Marine Grade Stainless Steel AISI 316 offers greater corrosion resistance than grade 304 and is commonly specified for coastal and marine environments including beachfront properties and marine environments with high salinity levels.

Break load is not a working load. This wire is widely used in wire balustrade. Whether a finished barrier complies depends on how it is built, including post spacing, wire spacing and tension. Those requirements are set by the National Construction Code and confirmed by your building surveyor or certifier.
