Stainless Wire Rope 4mm 7x7 Marine Grade AISI 316 - Per Metre

Commonly used for commercial application, as well as a number of residential balustrading purposes, this marine frade Stainless Steel AISI 316 offers greater corrosion resistance than grade 304 and is commonly specified for coastal and marine environments including beachfront properties and boardwalks with high salinity levels.

7x7 construction is more flexible and pliable compared with 1x19. You can use mechanical swage fittings such as ferrules and thimbles to complete your project with this wire rope. You can also use stainless swage fittings with this wire. We have a number of fittings available for 4mm wire including balustrade kits that have all the fittings necessary to complete one wire rope run.

Mill test certificates showing chemical composition, wire tensile grade and tested break load are available on request.

Break load is not a working load. This wire is widely used in wire balustrade. Whether a finished barrier complies depends on how it is built, including post spacing, wire spacing and tension. Those requirements are set by the National Construction Code and confirmed by your building surveyor or certifier.
